VENUE HIRE
At Ascot Kayak Club you can hire the upstairs hall area for workshops, meetings and the like. Please direct all enquiries for Hall Hire to Kylie White via akcadministration@gmail.com .
The Ascot Kayak Club Hall is an ideal space to hire for workshops, forums, training, Pilates, Yoga or small meetings. The hall provides a wonderful vista of the Swan River and allows access to a large balcony, allowing you to use both areas. The room features reverse cycle air conditioning, a domestic kitchen, trestle tables and plastic chairs. The furniture can be removed to provide an open space if required. The room is upstairs with easy access from a good sized convenient car park.
Swan Cafe next door can organise catering if you wish. Contact Wendy & Mel on 0466 564 159 or swancafe01@gmail.com. The Kiosk is part of the building complex and Wendy & Mel are club members.

Ascot Kayak Club and the City of Belmont do not provide insurance cover. It is the obligation of the hirer to take out adequate insurance such as workers compensation, personal accident, public liability and general property insurance.

How much does it cost?

All charges are GST inclusive
Hall Hire bond $200.00 to $1000.00 depending on the function and number of people. The Executive Committee may negotiate alternative rates and bond hire for regular customers.
How many people does the hall hold?
Our venue is quite small and as such is not suitable for large gatherings. 50 for a lecture style forum 40 for sit at tables workshop style. The hall is rated to hold a maximum of 50 people.
What equipment is available?
We supply plastic tables and chairs, a domestic fridge, domestic oven, sink and kitchen bench space as part of hire fee. You need to supply plates, cutlery, glasses and serving dishes.
What about catering?
We recommend the Swan Cafe or you are welcome to use your own caterer or do it yourself.
Are there toilets?
Yes the toilets are in the same building as the function room downstairs.
What about children?
As the venue is upstairs with a large balcony we do not recommend that very small children attend functions at AKC.
Is the Kayak club insured?
No, we do not have insurance to cover participants at private functions at Ascot Kayak Club. Private groups and Companies must provide a copy of Public Liability insurance cover for the event.
